Here at Hadley Creek Outfitters, we’re proud of the operation that we’ve built over the past 20 years. We’re celebrating our 20th anniversary in 2016! Throughout that time, there have been ups and downs, but we’re proud to say that we are stronger and better than ever. We are fortunate to have great owners, management, staff and guides that make this one of the best free range whitetail hunting operations anywhere.
But we’re not the only trophy whitetail outfitter in the Midwest. We’re definitely not the only whitetail operation in Pike County, Illinois. So what makes Hadley Creek different? We think there are a few key things that set us apart.
First, we have the deer to prove it. Year in and year out we produce more trophy whitetails than any other operation in Illinois – and certainly rivaling any other free-range whitetail operation nationwide. If you browse our photo galleries, you’ll see that we show photos of the deer we kill and we label them by season. We’re not still bragging on deer that we killed three, five or ten years ago. You can see exactly when each deer was taken and most importantly, which ones were taken THIS YEAR.
A 200+ Deer From the 2015 Season
In 2015 alone, we killed an impressive number of great bucks. And that’s why many of our clients return year after year. Because we offer a great shot at killing a true whitetail trophy. Remember, this is hunting for big, free-range whitetails. These animals are hard to kill and that’s why we love hunting them. Not everyone goes home with a trophy every year. But our hunters know they have a legitimate shot every time they’re in the stand of killing that buck of a lifetime. In 2015 alone we killed two deer over 200 inches! Beyond the deer you see on the ground, we are set apart by our ability to manage for trophy quality and then our ability to harvest them. The greatest factor in these two areas is the fact that we have control over our farms. As a full time farming operation, we have the luxury of laying out our farms with hunting in mind. Our farms are built for hunting. From the layout, to the stand placement, to the food plots, our farms are second-to-none. As a whitetail hunter, simply driving through some of these properties is fun in itself.
