Summer is moving right along and we’re getting excited for the upcoming hunting season here in Illinois at Hadley Creek Outfitters. Food plots are looking awesome, farms are in great shape and we’ve got new tree stands going up every day.
Best of all, we’ve got a ton of trail cams now out, and we’re just days away from launching our 2017 Hadley Creek Hit List! The annual hit list is always a ton of fun, getting us amped up for the hunting season. Look for this year’s Hit List to appear on the website in the next couple of weeks. If you haven’t already seen it, check out this new video taken in early July at one of our farms here in Pike County, Illinois. With plenty of time yet to grow, this deer could easily be a 200-inch whitetail by the start of the season.
In case you’re not familiar with Hadley Creek, please note that these deer are totally free range. There are no high-fence, hormone-injected, genetically modified deer here. Just 100% free-range, Illinois whitetails that are true trophies. We enforce a 140″ minimum on all of our hunts. And after 20 years of careful management and operating in the “Golden Triangle” area of Illinois, we are killing more big deer than ever.
