During this year’s archery season, we were able to kill some nice whitetail bucks, but the unusually warm weather didn’t make things easy. Our guides and hunters certainly worked hard for their opportunities. But our gun hunters this year caught a great break, and we had one of our best gun seasons in the past several years.
Cold weather finally kicked in and we even received a little bit of snow. That got the deer moving in a big way, and we killed some awesome bucks during the gun hunts.
These conditions continued through the Thanksgiving archery hunt when we also had great deer activity and took some very nice trophy whitetails, and on into the second gun hunt, which also proved to be productive.
