Rates and Dates

Our advice for booking a hunt is to do so as soon as your schedule permits. Planning ahead gives you the best opportunity to hunt when you wish. The prime rut period tends to be most popular, and scheduling can often be difficult if you wait to arrange your hunt. Although hunts are structured well in advance to make the season schedule efficient, we will also do our best to work with special circumstances whenever possible.

A Word About Deposits
A hunting deposit does two things. For the hunter, it guarantees
he has a spot reserved that will be available on the specific hunt, dates and terms that he's agreed to in advance with the outfitter. For the outfitter, it guarantees he'll have a hunter filling that spot at the same terms allowing him to fulfill his financial obligations throughout the year. Hadley Creek like the majority of outfitters relies on hunting deposits to help fund the substantial cash flow required so sustain a full time operation… the majority of which occurs prior to the hunting season.

Booking and Payment Policy
Our booking policy requires a $500 non-refundable deposit to reserve your hunt dates. One third of the remaining balance of your hunt is then due January 1st. One third is due June 1st and the final payment is due upon arrival for your hunt. For example, if you book a $3,500 hunt in October, you reserve your dates with a $500 deposit. You pay $1,000 January 1st, $1,000 June 1st and $1,000 when you arrive for your hunt.

Cancellation Policy
If you are unable to make your hunt, and notify us by June 1st, you may either move your hunt to another year and carry over the deposit or receive a refund less $500. Most refunds will be mailed promptly; all will be mailed within ninety days of cancellation. No refunds will be issued for cancellations received after June 1st, but you will still be able to roll over your deposit and payments to another year. No refunds or payment rollovers will be allowed for cancellations received within thirty days of the hunt date.

Transportation, Licenses and Permits
If you're flying, we'll be happy to pick you at the Quincy, Illinois airport for no additional charge. If flying into St. Louis, you may want to arrange a shuttle service. St. Louis is about a two hour drive from Hadley Creek Outfitters. Hunting Licenses and permits are available through the Illinois DNR. Contact us if you have questions about securing your license and permit.
